Concrete washout, water treatment, and hydrodemolition equipment manufacturer, Kelly Tanks is celebrating 10 years in the business by launching an Apprenticeship Award.

With its 10th anniversary coinciding with National Apprenticeship Week (5-11 Feb, 2024), Kelly Tanks will be launching an annual KT Apprenticeship Award, which aims to “recognise and reward apprentices that have shown dedication and promise in the plant industry sector.”

National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is an opportunity for the education and skills sector to celebrate the achievements of apprentices around the country and the positive impact they make to communities, businesses, and the wider economy.

The theme for NAW 2024 is ‘Skills For Life’ and the Department for Education have updated its NAW website and a NAW toolkit and T Level Toolkit are now available to support the apprenticeship community with planning their activity for NAW 2024.

As part of its celebrations, Kelly Tanks will also be holding an Open Day Celebration, with a hog roast, live music, drinks and a ‘Grand Opening’ of its new office later this year.

Mark Stubbs, director of Kelly Tanks, has been involved in water treatment for over 30 years, leading him to establish Kelly Tanks, alongside Kelly Bryant, a decade ago.

The pair have been guided by customer demand to provide the UK's largest, most diverse fleet of concrete washouts and have further developed their range of water treatment solutions to include pH control, remote monitoring, flow proportional dosing, and renewable energy.

“Kelly, myself, and ‘Team KT’ would like to thank all of our connections, friends, suppliers, supporters, and customers for being part of our journey so far and invite you to celebrate with us,” said Mark Stubbs. “Watch this space!”.
