Brett Concrete has opened a new concrete plant in Guildford, further extending its presence in Surrey, creating a ‘cluster’ with Crawley and another recent addition in Godstone.

The move brings the company’s total number of plants to 19 across the east and south of England.

Located near the M25, the Guildford plant will produce ready-mixed concrete, screeds, and specialist concretes, including low-carbon options. The new facility is part of Brett Concrete’s strategy to improve delivery efficiency in the region.

“The Guildford plant will help us provide timely and efficient deliveries to local customers,” said Victoria Smith, managing director at Brett Concrete. “Its location allows us to serve the Surrey area more effectively while offering our full range of concrete products.”

The plant officially opened on 27 November, just under two months after its purchase. Commenting on the quick turnaround, Jim Farley, operations manager, said: “We are very pleased to bring this plant online so quickly, and I want to thank the teams at Brett Concrete, Brett Aggregates, and the Brett Group for their hard work and collaboration.”

Brett Concrete’s product range includes a variety of concretes suited for different applications, including traditional ready-mixed concrete, specialist screeds, and eco-friendly, low-carbon alternatives.
