SKAKO Concrete expands into Poland

SKAKO Concrete's new office in Suchy Las, Poland is staffed by two engineers, who are focused on adding advanced features to the company's SKAKOMAT process control system.

SKAKO Concrete has launched a new office in Suchy Las, Poland, dedicated to advancing its SKAKOMAT process control system, a critical tool for optimising concrete production.

SKAKOMAT is widely used to automate and streamline batching processes, allowing operators to manage production sequences, control material inputs, and track real-time performance metrics across multiple plants from a central interface.

The new facility, located in Younick Technology Park, is staffed with two engineers focused on adding advanced features to SKAKOMAT, including expanded historical data tracking and cross-plant performance comparisons. This data-focused approach aims to help operators make faster, informed decisions to improve production efficiency and consistency.

A key enhancement is the development of a mobile app, which will enable SKAKOMAT users to access production data remotely, providing greater flexibility and accessibility for teams working outside the control room. This mobile functionality will allow operators to oversee and adjust processes from anywhere, creating opportunities for more responsive management.

In a statement, SKAKO said its decision to base the new department in Poland not only provides access to a larger talent pool of skilled engineers but also strengthens communication with local suppliers, enhancing supply chain flow and supporting product quality.

With its new presence in Poland, SKAKO said it is well-positioned to meet rising demand in the region, including anticipated growth as Ukraine begins reconstruction efforts.
