Bay-Lynx opens Basingstoke facility and expands product line

Bay-Lynx Manufacturing UK has expanded its operations with a new facility in Basingstoke and the addition of Frumecar drum mixers to its product offering. The company, a major supplier of volumetric concrete mixers, parts, and services in the UK for over 13 years, continues to meet the changing demands of the construction sector.

The new Basingstoke facility, which opened in November 2024, was introduced to meet the growing demand in the south of England, and provides customers with localised support for repairs, maintenance, and parts.

“This facility allows us to expand our reach and offer our customers a more localised service with our two locations, North and South,” said Michael Barr, managing director of Bay-Lynx. “It’s all part of our commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience and meeting industry needs.”

The Basingstoke site includes a dedicated service department and drive-in repair facilities, which help minimise downtime for customers. “We know how important it is for our customers to keep their operations running smoothly,” said Barr. “Our goal is always to deliver the best possible service, whether for new equipment sales or ongoing maintenance and support.”

Frumecar Drum Mixers added to lineup

Bay-Lynx has also announced the introduction of Frumecar drum mixers in 2025, a move that complements its existing volumetric mixer range. Frumecar, a Spanish manufacturer, is known for its durable, lightweight mixers, such as the FH40 to FH10 models, which offer capacities ranging from 4 to 10 cubic metres.

“Adding Frumecar drum mixers to our range is exciting for us,” said Barr. “With many volumetric operators now adding batching plants to their businesses, it made sense for us to fulfil the need for drum mixers alongside everything we do. With Frumecar’s renowned reputation for quality, this partnership will allow us to offer even more options to meet the diverse needs of the industry.”
