New CZ Business Champions announced

More household names from UK construction have committed to help drive carbon out of the industry as part of the Construction Leadership Council’s CO2nstruct Zero campaign.

The nine new Construct Zero Business Champions are Curo Construction, Fosroc, Fourfront Group, Grow Forward, Robertson, M&J Evans Construction, Roberts Group, SMT GB, and Wills Bros.

The Construction Leadership Council's CO2nstruct Zero campaign is an initiative aimed at addressing carbon emissions within the construction industry in the United Kingdom.

The campaign seeks to promote and implement measures to reduce carbon emissions associated with construction activities, including the use of sustainable materials, energy-efficient practices, and innovative construction techniques.

Its goal is to achieve net-zero carbon emissions from the UK construction industry by 2050. 

The campaign involves collaboration between industry leaders, government bodies, and other stakeholders to develop strategies and policies to achieve this ambitious target.
