Core Cut invests in new floor grinders
UK-based concrete cutting and drilling company Core Cut has invested over £100,000 in new floor grinding and preparation equipment from Tyrolit. This investment follows the recent launch of Tyrolit’s Floor Grinding & Preparation (FGE) range and a product demonstration by Tyrolit’s team.
Finlay Crocker, managing director of Core Cut, was introduced to Tyrolit’s new products at the UK Concrete Expo. After learning more about the range, he contacted Tyrolit to explore how the products could benefit the company.
Core Cut had been using equipment from multiple suppliers, which led to inconsistencies in their operations. Tyrolit’s comprehensive floor grinding and preparation solutions provided an opportunity to streamline their equipment by sourcing everything from one supplier.
Tyrolit arranged a series of product trials for Core Cut, including:
- FGE780R3 Radio Remote Floor Grinder: This advanced floor grinder features radio remote control for precise operation, allowing the operator to control the machine from a distance for enhanced safety and efficiency. The grinder’s large working width and robust construction make it ideal for heavy-duty floor preparation, ensuring quick and effective results on both small and large surfaces.
- FPE320 Electric Scarifier: The FPE320 is an electric-powered scarifier designed for efficient surface profiling and removal of coatings, adhesives, or other materials from concrete floors. It features a powerful motor and adjustable cutting depth, providing flexibility for various applications, including surface cleaning and texturing.
- FBE560 Twin Motor Shot Blaster: This heavy-duty shot blaster is designed to prepare concrete surfaces by removing coatings, contaminants, and uneven surfaces. It features twin motors for enhanced power and efficiency, offering effective blasting at higher speeds and better productivity. The FBE560 is ideal for medium to large-sized surface preparation jobs.
Tyrolit’s floor preparation experts worked closely with Core Cut to ensure the machines were well-suited to the company’s requirements. Following successful trials and their commitment to maintaining up-to-date and reliable equipment, Core Cut decided to replace their entire fleet with Tyrolit’s new range. The company’s £100k investment will ensure access to high-quality equipment with dependable after-sales support.
“Core Cut’s decision to choose Tyrolit highlights the increasing demand for reliable, efficient, and consistent equipment solutions in the construction sector,” said a Tyrolift spokesperson.
