The report estimated the size of the total potential market which the new terminal could supply through the identification of ~650 ready mixed concrete producing companies and ~210  concrete products producers within a defined market range from the proposed import terminal. The report provided full mapping of all of the operations and comprehensive details of each of them, including existing cement sourcing arrangements. A wider understanding of the cement market in Great Britain, covering domestic manufacturers, importers, plant activity, trends and forecasts in cement volumes, and planning activity relating to cement import and production was also provided.
