Volumetric concrete mixer supplier Volumech recently held its first Christmas open day at its new facility in Wednesbury, in the West Midlands. The event offered attendees an opportunity to see the company’s state-of-the-art equipment, learn about its concrete testing capabilities, and meet the team behind the operation.

The open day featured festive Christmas market food and attracted both new and long-standing customers.

At the event, new customer Angus Reid ordered his first volumetric mixer as he launched R&R Concrete in the East Midlands, and Phil Kettle of Kettle and Black added more Cemen Tech C60 mixers to his fleet.

Steve Cartwright, general manager at Volumech, commented: “The event demonstrated Volumech’s capabilities and commitment to supporting operators in the volumetric mixer industry. Our facility sets a high standard for service, and it was fantastic to meet so many of our customers in person.”

The event also saw new truck sales and served as a platform to strengthen relationships within the construction industry.

Volumech is a subsidiary of Cemen Tech, the world’s largest manufacturer of volumetric mixers. Based in Wednesbury, Volumech serves customers across the UK, providing solutions such as the Cemen Tech C60 mixer and ACCU-POUR, a cloud-based productivity system for the concrete sector.
