Construction, aggregates, waste management, and transport company, The Ashcourt Group have added a new Liebherr Betomix concrete batching plant to their Newton Aycliffe facility

Commissioned and fully operational, the new facility complements the company’s existing concrete plants in Hull, Pocklington, Melton, and Goole, allowing it to meet the growing demand for construction materials in the North East.

“Our Newton Aycliffe site, which already hosts a dedicated waste recycling facility, now benefits from the addition of the Liebherr Betomix 2.5m³ twin shaft wet batch concrete plant. This plant has a production capacity of 110m³ per hour, utilising three 100-tonne cement silos, and incorporates the latest technology from Liebherr,” said a company spokesperson.

“With the plant now successfully commissioned, we are equipped to support both small and large construction and civil engineering projects in the North East. We offer flexible delivery and collection options, and our services are already being utilised for a housing development in the region.

“Our concrete team, with their extensive knowledge and expertise, is ready to assist you from the initial consultation and technical advice through to project completion. We are committed to providing an efficient and reliable service to ensure the successful achievement of your project requirements.”
