How green are you?

Final year Loughbrough University student, Tim Williams is looking for answers to help complete his dissertation - Sustainable development in the construction industry towards achieving the Net-Zero goal.

Can you help Loughbrough University student Tim Williams find out how green the UK construction industry is?

Visiting the UK Concrete Show for the first time, final year Loughbrough University student, Tim is looking for answers to help complete his dissertation - Sustainable development in the construction industry towards achieving the Net-Zero goal

“I’ve met several exhibitors and I’m hoping they, and visitors to the show can help me complete my dissertation,” explained Tim, who is studying Construction Engineering and Management (CEM) at the university’s School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering, “by completing a short, online survey.

“The purpose of my questionnaire is to assess the effectiveness of sustainable development in the construction industry and its relevance to achieve net-zero carbon goals.

“It also aims to assess how the perspectives of construction professionals in the UK influence the successful adoption of sustainable practices,” added Tim.

UK Concrete Show visitors and readers of Concrete Connect’s weekly newsletter are invited to help Tim by completing a 22-question, online survey that should take just 10 minutes.

You can complete Tim’s survey online here, or contact Tim by email here: [email protected]
