Mosey joins Wates as operations director

Wates has appointed George Mosey as its new UK operations director for construction, effective immediately. Mosey will sit on the Wates Construction Board and work closely with senior management to strengthen the company’s focus on safety, quality, sustainability, and operational performance.

Mosey brings over 16 years of experience from Laing O’Rourke, where he held senior roles, including head of procurement across Europe. His new role at Wates will see him use his expertise in health and safety, procurement, and project delivery to lead the operational teams effectively.
