Transport compliance and training services provider Logico has secured exclusive commercial rights to provide MixerSURE training.

The scheme, accredited by EMPI Awards, offers a regulated vocational qualification for mixer truck drivers and covers on-road site vehicle competence assessments (SVCA), Driver Certificate of Professional Competence ( CPC ), and classroom instruction tailored to the specific needs of the ready-mix concrete sector.

Endorsed by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), MixerSURE delivers the latest industry insights and has been designed to comply with BS EN 12609:2021 Truck Mixer Safety Requirements and the DVSA Earned Recognition Scheme Concrete Operational module. The training offers guidance on operating mixers safely and efficiently, preventing rollovers, load security offences, site incidents, and maintenance issues.

Lisa Fleming, managing director of Logico, said: “We are incredibly proud to be offering MixerSURE and the SVCA vocational qualification throughout the UK. Many of our customers operate specialist mixer fleets, so we recognize the necessity of providing specialized training for everyone involved in the supply chain. Our expert trainers and assessors uphold the highest standards, ensuring top-quality training and assessments.”

Mark Cowan, the creator of MixerSURE, added: "Logico is the ideal partner for delivering MixerSURE. Our specialist trainers, equipped with up-to-date operational experience and accredited by EMPI Awards, will enhance industry education and road safety."

Logico's MixerSURE training is designed to be cost-effective and flexible, allowing companies to integrate training with minimal disruption. Their services extend beyond training to include operational management courses, ready-mix supply chain training, professional transport audits, compliance support, and digitally integrated systems to ensure full compliance with operator's license requirements.
