Webinar to explore CVD's impact on construction
Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) technology is making waves in the construction sector, particularly in enhancing graphene and other carbon-based materials. This technology allows precise control over material properties, which could greatly improve the performance of concrete and other construction materials, making them stronger, more durable, and environmentally sustainable.
A free webinar, Pioneering CVD Production – Graphene and Beyond, will be held on January 29, 2025, at 15:00 GMT. Hosted by the Graphene Council, it will feature industry experts, including Siddhant Bangur and Dr. Michael Stanford from General Graphene Corporation, as well as Dr. Srivatsa Aithal from Hememics Biotechnologies.
The webinar will highlight recent advancements in CVD technology and how it has helped develop graphene-based field effect transistors for biosensing applications. Presenters will also discuss breakthroughs in applying CVD for construction materials.
As CVD technology continues to evolve, it holds significant potential for the construction industry. Through innovations in material science, it could lead to more sustainable, cost-effective, and high-performance building materials, such as advanced concrete with enhanced strength and sustainability.
The session will be recorded, and registrants will receive a link to the recording and the presentation slides. Registration for the webinar is available online.
